"Audrey played Mary Queen of Scots in my series Elizabeth I for Channel 5. Audrey's performance was an absolute joy to watch, she is an incredibly skilful and subtle actor, devoid of sentimentality. In the scene where Mary is executed, Audrey conveyed extraordinary emotion without ever becoming saccharine. Her performance will linger in my memory for some time to come.
Audrey is a very smart, creative actor who understands the importance of craft, she is a rare and powerful talent. This combined with her good humour, kindness and warmth made having her on set an absolute pleasure. I would heartily recommend Audrey, she did her home work, she has great levels of energy and concentration and through great choices she brought Mary to life."
